The Heart of Deliciaedax

At Deliciaedax, our miniature longhaired dachshunds are not just dogs - they are family, legacy, and love in motion. Every litter is a promise: to honour the breed, to give our puppies the best possible start, and to match each one with a home where they will be cherished for life.
We breed rarely and intentionally. Every pairing is chosen with care, guided by health, temperament, and conformation, always asking the question: “Will this move the next generation forward?”

Health & Responsibility

The wellbeing of our dogs comes before everything.

• All of our breeding dogs are health tested and cleared of hereditary conditions.

• We never breed dilute colours (blue or isabella), as the colour dilution gene is linked to painful, lifelong coat and skin issues (CDA).

• Our aim is balance: sound structure, diversity of pedigree, gentle temperaments, and that unmistakable dachshund spirit.

From the Very Beginning

Our puppies are born in the heart of our home, surrounded by warmth, love, and gentle hands. From their first breaths, they are part of our family. We follow a structured development program designed to build confidence and resilience:

• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) in the first weeks, building strong foundations.

• Everyday socialisation with the sounds, sights, and rhythms of real life.

• Positive handling - paws, ears, nails, and gentle grooming to prepare them for a lifetime of care.

• Introduction to crate and toilet training, helping them transition smoothly into their new homes.

• Individual attention, recognising that each puppy has a unique personality and deserves a home that matches them.
