As responsible breeders, our top priority is ensuring that our puppies find loving, committed homes where they will be cherished for a lifetime. We are deeply passionate about matching each puppy with the right family to provide them with the care, love, and stability they deserve.

If you would like to be considered for one of our puppies or join our waiting list, we kindly ask that all prospective owners complete our Puppy Application Form below. This helps us get to know you better and ensures we can make the best possible match.

Please note: We require a valid form of identification to accompany all applications, to confirm genuine interest. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications without I.D., as we are committed to finding responsible, vetted homes and will not offer our puppies to just anyone.

Reservation Fee

A non-refundable holding fee is required to secure your chosen puppy upon the approval of your application.

We love keeping in touch with our puppy families and always appreciate updates on how our little ones are settling into their forever homes! We also have a Facebook group exclusively for our puppy owners, where you can share updates, post photos and connect with other families who have welcomed one of our puppies into their homes. It's a great way to stay in touch, exchange experiences and be part of our extended Deliciaedax family.

How did you hear about us?

Why would you like a dog, particularly a dachshund?

Briefly describe a little about yourself so we can gain a little insight into who you are (Your lifestyle, work pattern, hobbies, and why now feels like the right time to welcome a dachshund.)

Have you ever owned a dachshund or another dog before? If yes, please share your experience.

What kind of home do you have? (Do you own or rent? Is there a private or shared garden?)

Where will the dog spend most of its time? How long will the dog be alone during the day when your not home?

Where will the dog sleep?

If you are married/have a partner or live with others, how do they feel about having a dog?

Who will be primarily responsible for the care of the dog? vet bills, exercise, housebreaking etc?

Are you aware of the requirements of owning a dachshund? Are you aware of the risk of IVDD and the importance of stairs & ramps for furniture etc? Could you share with us what you know about the breed?

Are you financially prepared for the ongoing costs of owning a dachshund? (Insurance, vaccinations, grooming, emergencies, possible IVDD surgery.)

Do you plan to attend puppy training classes or work with a trainer?

How would you handle potential behavioural issues such as barking, separation anxiety, or toilet training difficulties?

Do you travel for work or leisure? If so, what arrangements would you have in place for your dog while you’re away?

Are you prepared for the responsibilty of caring for this dog for its entire life? (Approximately 10-16years)

We only breed longhaired miniature dachshunds and never dilute colours (blue/isabella) due to health risks linked to CDA. Is colour more important to you, or would temperament and suitability take priority? Please note we cannot guarantee a specific colour.

Are you open to staying in touch with us as your puppy grows (sharing updates, photos, and progress)? We have a private Facebook group for our puppy families where we share milestones, advice, and updates. Would you like to be part of this community?
